GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system establishes a robust network of care for all District residents, with a focus on Wards 7 and 8 having access to high quality care in their community. Services include trauma care with a helipad, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, NICU, ICU, Medical/Surgical care, Telemetry, and an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and outpatient services.
Position
We are seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator (Full Time-Days).
Responsibilities Our ideal candidate will evaluate and improve the quality of patient care by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and implementing quality management systems. Key responsibilities include monitoring quality measures, analyzing data for trends, developing reports, conducting staff training on quality processes, overseeing infection control, and collaborating with medical staff to resolve issues and enhance patient safety.

Qualifications Requirements
Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related healthcare field required.
2 or more years of Quality Assurance experience in an acute healthcare setting
Skills
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety
Demonstrate a proven track record of commitment, with the ability to sustain employment for a minimum of two years
