Senior Sales Manager - Data Centers Are you a successful Power Generation Sales Person looking for a new demand selling to Data Center customers? You will develop a vision with an important market on the level of a product line with a long term perspective. Leads business development planning processes for this market, specifically working with CoLo Data Center customers (Equinix, Coresite, CyrusOne, etc.). Responsibilities
Handling products and systems requiring thorough technical knowledge and knowledge of the Data Center environment where the products and systems will be used. Processing sales requiring technical analysis and adaptation to client, market and ecosystem conditions. Accessing DC on-site power projects, leveraging own network of owners/operators, engineering companies and other players in the ecosystem to develop and execute the DC Go-To-Market strategy for the CoLo market. Managing complex sales processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally. Managing the technical, economical, logistical and financial aspects involved in creating a proposal. To Be Successful In This Role You Will
Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 5+ years of successful complex solutions sales experience. Have proven knowledge about Data Center ecosystem specifically including CoLo customers. Have 2+ years of direct experience selling into data center projects on a national basis. Have experience with long-term planning of resources, technology and account structure. Be able to travel at least 50% of the time to customers. Preferred experience selling power generation products (utilities and regulated energy markets). This position is office-based/hybrid/remote and requires location in or near the displayed locations. The pay range represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at posting time and applies to possible locations for this position. The salary range posted may vary by geographic location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, and performance. Your recruiter can share more about the pay range during the hiring process. You will be eligible to participate in Company-sponsored benefit programs, including health & welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k). You will have a choice of coverage options that best suit your needs.
