Job Overview
Senior Systems Analyst to play a key role in delivering solutions to business partners, solving complex problems, and advancing technology platforms. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task across initiatives are required. The role supports investors across Asset Allocation, Commodities, Equity, Fixed Income, Macro Analysis, and Risk Management within the Investor Application Support Team. Responsibilities
Interact directly with investment professionals at all levels as a trusted advisor Answer functional and technical questions about tools, data, and reports in research, valuation, risk management, portfolio analysis, and portfolio construction Respond to ad hoc analysis requests and other information delivery solutions Design, support, improve, and develop data validation and productivity tools and processes Manage production incidents, determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and follow up Proactively identify issues and opportunities to improve investment processes Keys to the Position
Experience supporting investors; proficiency in front and middle office functions of Order Management Systems; familiarity with investment tools, research tools, investment reporting, and platforms like FactSet/Bloomberg Experience with Fixed Income and Derivatives; primary area for Level 2 support Partner with Portfolio Analysts to support requests Strong SQL skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for direct user interaction Qualifications
Master’s degree in computer science, business, economics, finance, mathematical finance, or related field Two years of business analysis or systems analysis experience in trading, investment management, or financial services; or bachelor’s degree with five years of experience Experience in financial statement analysis, investment management or financial services Experience with financial instruments (stocks, bonds, swaps, options, futures, forwards, derivatives, FX) Experience with investment data concepts (holdings, transactions, security master, analytics, performance) Experience with investment workflows (research, valuation, analysis, risk management, portfolio construction) Experience writing SQL queries and working with Oracle or SQL Server Experience with Market Data platforms (Bloomberg, FactSet) Experience with Python development Client relationship skills and ability to work with business partners to deliver solutions Salary
