Overview

This role is with Russell Tobin & Associates. This Audio Visual Tech position is onsite in San Francisco, CA and is client facing with a production focus around internal and external events. Base pay range:

$50.00/hr - $55.00/hr Pay:

$50 - $55 per hour on W2 Location:

Onsite in San Francisco, minimal travel may be required

Responsibilities

Support All-Hands meetings and larger internal/external events (Tiers 1 & 2). Setup and breakdown of events (where applicable). Integrate company communication platforms with physical meeting spaces. Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues in event spaces. Collaborate with Workplace and Facilities teams on room and venue preparations. Develop technical plans for regular corporate events (quarterly reviews, team meetings). Provide guidance to Level 1 technicians on company equipment standards. Support remote employee participation in hybrid events. Participate in cross-departmental planning meetings for upcoming events. Train and mentor Level 1 technicians. Assist with equipment procurement recommendations.

Required Skills

5 years of hands-on event support experience, preferably at technology companies. Experience coordinating internal meetings and production-focused event support. Strong customer service skills to work with executive leadership teams that need event support. Remain calm under pressure; culture fit and the right personality are important. Familiarity with supporting events using production hardware.

Required Hard Skills

Jira platform (primary tool used). Google Meet and Google Video Conferencing. Proficiency in multiple video conferencing platforms; Google Meet is the main platform. Experience with Work Management tools. Husis systems. Operating sound mixing boards, video switchers, handheld lavalier microphones.

Qualifications

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
