Job Description: Join a role that's central to our technological resilience, offering a unique opportunity to shape the firm's tech risk & control strategy and enhance industry compliance. As the Tech Risk and Controls Director within JPMorgan Chase, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the Consumer and Community Banking technology risk management strategy. You will identify, oversee, and mitigate compliance and operational risks in line with the firm\'s standards. You will collaborate with stakeholders, including Product Owners, Business Control Managers, Internal Audit, and Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk, to develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the technology risk and control posture and its impact on the business. You will make calculated decisions, manage direct and matrixed team members, and promote strategic projects to ensure regulatory obligations and industry best practices are met. Your work will contribute to the long-term success and resilience of the organization in a changing technology landscape.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement centralized solutioning for the management of standards, procedures, audit and issue management data for Consumer & Community Bank Technology

Maintain and develop standardized templates for information distribution relative to the “State of Controls” in alignment with the Heads of Technology across Consumer & Community Bank Technology

Manage and implement a cross functional escalation process in alignment with issue management policy and standards

Provide ad hoc support cross functionally for Consumers & Community Bank Technology

Develop and implement a cohesive communication program for Consumer & Community Bank Technology Control Awareness

Develop and implement technology risk & control management strategies, policies, and processes to identify, assess, and mitigate risks; drive strategic projects and initiatives to enhance capabilities in line with best practices and regulatory requirements

Identify and escalate emerging and upstream technology risk through the Firm\'s management framework tools, including risk event management, reporting, and action plan tracking; provide expert counsel to stakeholders regarding security obligations

Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional team leads and auditors, to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards

Manage reporting and governance of overall controls, policies, issue management, and measurements; provide insight to senior leaders into effectiveness of controls and inform governance work

Qualifications

7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technology risk management, information security, or related field, focusing on risk identification, assessment, and mitigation

Demonstrated expertise in risk management frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the financial industry

Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional programs, influence executive-level strategic decision-making, and translate technology insights to business strategy in communications with senior executives

Advanced knowledge and experience leading data security, risk assessment & reporting, and control evaluation, design, and governance, with a track record of risk mitigation strategies

Preferred Qualifications

CISA, CISSP and/or relevant industry certifications
