Role Overview We are looking for a motivated self-starter to join our team in a
Business Analyst
role and be responsible for using operational, clinical, and financial data to provide insight, enabling leadership to make faster, better decisions that improve outcomes for families and the business. The right candidate will have strong attention to detail and be professional, energetic, organized, and driven. You will wear multiple hats and take initiative to get things done. Training will be provided on the specific responsibilities, and the right fit will quickly pick up responsibilities and manage them independently. We are an elite, fast-growing organization.
This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will work with the CFO on the annual budget, rolling forecasts, lender reporting, and ad-hoc strategic analyses.
Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis
Partner with the CFO to own the annual budget model and rolling forecast for all centers.
Build scenario and sensitivity models for new-site launches, payer-mix changes and reimbursement-rate negotiations.
Assist the CFO in preparing periodic financial packages for senior leadership and Board review.
Data & Business Intelligence
Design, maintain and automate dashboards in PowerBI/Tableau that track census, therapist utilization, reimbursement cycle times, sales-funnel performance, clinical-outcome KPIs, and cost per client.
Write performant SQL queries and Python/R scripts to ingest data from CentralReach (EMR), payroll, CRM and other source systems.
Build standardized reporting frameworks that can be reused across functional teams (Finance, Operations, Clinical, Growth).
Operational Analytics
Quantify clinical KPIs (hours of therapy delivered, goal-mastery rates) and link them to financial performance.
Identify cost-saving and revenue-lift opportunities; prepare clear, visual management packs.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure all analyses follow GAAP and HIPAA standards; maintain strong version control and data-governance documentation.
Prepare and submit periodic financial and covenant-compliance reports required by the company's senior lender, coordinating directly with Accounting and the CFO.
Assist with audit requests, grant reporting and payer credentialing data pulls.
Cross-functional Partnership
Act as a "translator" between clinical directors, revenue-cycle, accounting and the executive team.
Provide ad-hoc modeling support for pricing, contract negotiations and strategic initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science or related field.
2+ years in business analytics, FP&A, or financial data analytics - ideally in multi-site healthcare or services.
Advanced Excel & PowerQuery; working SQL; one scripting language (Python/R); BI dashboarding (PowerBI/Tableau/Looker).
Demonstrated ability to model unit economics and present findings to non-finance audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare-revenue-cycle or payer-mix experience.
Familiarity with CentralReach or other outpatient EMRs; experience with debt covenant or lender reporting.
Growth Path High performers can progress to Senior Financial Analytics Manager or broaden into Strategic Planning as Ally Behavior expands.
Compensation & Benefits Snapshot
Base salary: $85,000-$115,000
Quarterly bonuses based on personal and company performance
