Director, Employee Relations
— Senior HR search professional across all industries in North America. A leading charter school network is hiring to support 10 schools across Hartford, Bridgeport, and New Haven. This role requires weekly site visits to schools in each city; some sites are co-located. When not on-site, the Director can work remotely or from a coworking space in New Haven. Responsibilities
Lead and manage 5–6 concurrent workplace investigations. Coach school leaders through performance management and employee relations issues. Facilitate ADA accommodation requests and prepare related documentation. Conduct occasional mediations and develop/deliver workplace trainings. Provide strategic HR guidance and policy support across the network. Qualifications
10+ years in HR/employee relations, with strong investigation experience. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of employment law and HRIS systems (ADP a plus). Ability to travel to schools in Hartford, Bridgeport, and New Haven weekly. Spanish proficiency is a plus. Compensation and Benefits
