As an IT Management Consultant, you will have a dedicated focus on Accenture’s IT Center of Excellence to support all aspects of client-facing IT sourcing and cost optimization projects. You will work closely with clients and suppliers to drive project initiatives and will lead consulting, problem solving, project management and data analysis that will be the basis for strategic client decision making. You will also help deepen the IT Center of Excellence’s expertise and capture knowledge to support business development opportunities while helping scale Accenture’s IT capabilities. Responsibilities
Project Execution Create robust sourcing strategies and recommendations Provide IT thought leadership and benchmarking Synthesize data sources into insights and clear deliverables Work with clients to identify and interpret key project requirements Develop and nurture relationships with client stakeholders Facilitate development of project plans and overall project management to ensure effective delivery Coordinate with subject matter experts within and outside of the firm Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal/external resources to align priorities and satisfy stakeholders Contribute to the IT Center of Excellence’s strategic decisions and direction Demonstrate integrity in decisions and firm relationships Achieve excellence and dependability through project execution Support Business Development activities Assist with sales calls and develop sales-support materials Provide IT thought leadership and support development/review of client IT spend summaries Identify and assess opportunities for savings and cost optimization through IT sourcing levers Practice Development: create and curate deliverable content to capture IT category knowledge and support internal knowledge share and business development Develop and execute data aggregation for benchmarking and analysis Assist with ongoing development and management of intellectual capital Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of relevant business experience Procurement and sourcing experience, including exposure to IT negotiations Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint), including ability to develop and interpret complex analytical models and ad-hoc reports Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field Bonus points if
Proven client-facing skills and ability to build client relationships Strong planning and multi-project management capabilities Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to senior executives Strong analytical skills Deep IT category and procurement expertise in hardware, software, infrastructure, networking, cloud services, or labor Entrepreneurial, performance-driven mindset with a capacity for innovation and process improvement Experience driving insights using visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) MBA or equivalent graduate degree Compensation and Location
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, including office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington.
