Overview
Senior Software Engineering Manager – Martech Platforms (Western Union, LLC, Denver, CO) Spearhead the design and architecture of new IT projects, ensuring seamless integration across marketing technology platforms and alignment with business goals and technical requirements. Deliver the Enterprise Integration Architecture, including both Cloud and on-premises solutions, while overseeing platform selection, DevOps, CI/CD processes, and monitoring tools. Leverage in-depth knowledge of modern technologies and integration methodologies to drive innovation and optimization in project execution. Direct the design and implementation of integration architecture for platforms like Braze and SFMC, collaborating closely with internal integration teams to ensure successful deployment and alignment with broader IT strategies. Develop cloud-based data solutions utilizing Spark Streaming, Kafka, AWS, Docker, Snowflake, and monitoring tools such as ELK/Splunk, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. Assist integration platform and development teams, guiding them in the management, design, and execution of integration solutions. Facilitate integration design, performance optimization, and code reviews to maintain high standards of quality. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, to ensure the successful development and execution of targeted campaigns, driving personalized customer experiences through integrated technology solutions. Drive the creation and execution of complex customer journeys, decision flows, and marketing campaigns within Braze and SFMC, from development through production, including user access management and ensuring adherence to security and data privacy protocols. Define project scopes, objectives, and timelines while overseeing the day-to-day project management, including resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. Ensure on-time and within budget delivery of IT integration and technology solutions. Establish performance metrics for integration solutions, monitor system performance, and continuously identify opportunities for process optimization and technological improvements to enhance project outcomes. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union LLC at 7001 E Belleview Ave., Denver, CO 80237. Salary: $224,058 – $352,416 per year. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Solution Architect, or related role involving software engineering, design, and architecture. 4 years of professional experience performing software engineering, design and architecture of new projects while consolidating integration platforms. 3 years of professional experience creating canvases and campaigns analyzing customer journeys and decision flows. 2 years of professional experience utilizing agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD. 2 years of professional experience consuming RESTful and SOAP based web services. 2 years of professional experience with unit testing, HTTP, XML, JSON, and JavaScript. 2 years of professional experience in Braze and Salesforce platform engineering. 2 years of professional experience contributing to business technology direction to drive measurable business improvements.
