About the Role
The Company is seeking a General Counsel to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the legal and regulatory aspects of the organization's groundbreaking work in aerospace propulsion. This role is pivotal in providing expert legal advice on a wide range of issues, including government and regulatory environment, data privacy, intellectual property, and corporate governance. The General Counsel will also be responsible for spearheading the corporate legal strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and overseeing all legal and regulatory affairs. A key aspect of the position is the ability to influence organizational strategy and manage domestic and international transactions.
Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should have a degree from an ABA-approved law school, be an active member in good standing of the state bar of Texas, and have a minimum of 7 years' of experience in securities, corporate law, or government, with a focus on technical and manufacturing industries. The role requires a candidate with a successful track record in managing legal teams, a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, government contracts, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop legal strategies, negotiate effectively, and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
