Sirovich Center Monthly Food Pantry- Volunteers Needed!

EA's Sirovich Center has continued to support NYC’s older adult and local community combat food insecurity. One such support is through Sirovich Center's Pantry that occurs in-person, once a month (the first Wenesday of each calender month of the year). With your volunteer support, this pantry services over 145+ food insecure older adult and local community members alike. We are looking for volunteers to help support the food pantry by packaging food packages to Older Adult community members. This is an in-person volunteering opportunity, and we continue to take precautions to ensure that all are safe throughout this pandemic.

Want to give back and support the older adults of NYC Are vaccinated against COVID-19 Over the age of 16 (or accompanied by an adult) Are able to comfortably stand for long periods of time and lift objects up to 30 lbs. WHAT IS YOUR COMMITMENT? Shifts are the first Wednesday of the month

11am - 2pm (biggest need during this shift) 1pm - 4pm
