Become a Hospice Volunteer - Make a Difference When It Matters Most Do you have a caring heart and an hour or more to give each week? At Good Shepherd Hospice, our volunteers are the heart of what we do. As a hospice volunteer, you'll offer comfort, companionship, and a listening ear to patients and their families during one of life's most meaningful journeys. What You Can Do: Visit with patients and provide emotional support Offer respite for family caregivers Share your talents; music, art, reading, etc. Assist with administrative tasks or events What You'll Gain: A deeply fulfilling experience New friendships and connections A chance to truly make a difference No medical experience needed, just compassion and reliability.
