What You'll Do: Lead and mentor production personnel across multiple departments, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Oversee daily production schedules to achieve on-time delivery while meeting ISO 9001/AS9100 quality standards and customer requirements. Coordinate with managers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to drive workflow efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain a culture of safety, compliance, and accountability while fostering teamwork and continuous improvement. Accurately manage production travelers, ERP entries, and reporting to ensure visibility of production status to leadership. Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and develop team members to enhance technical and professional skills. Actively participate in leadership meetings, contribute to problem-solving initiatives, and implement process improvements. What You Bring: Proven leadership : 5+ years of experience in production management, with a strong record of driving high-performing teams in fast-paced, contract manufacturing environments. Technical expertise : In-depth knowledge of machine shop workflow, scheduling, prototyping, and manufacturing processes. Skilled at reading blueprints, technical drawings, and applying industry materials/technologies. Quality & compliance focus : Hands-on experience with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 standards, ensuring consistent adherence to rigorous quality requirements. ERP & process management : Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and production tracking tools to improve workflow accuracy and visibility. Problem-solving mindset : Experienced in continuous improvement methodologies, with a track record of resolving production challenges, minimizing downtime, and improving efficiency. People-first leadership : Strong communication, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills. Committed to building a collaborative, safe, and motivated team culture. Adaptability & resilience : Ability to manage multiple high-complexity projects, anticipate issues, and deliver solutions under pressure in changing manufacturing environments.
