Fundraising Committee Chair Organization:
Think Round, Inc. Role Overview: The Fundraising Committee Chair leads the Fundraising Committee in developing and implementing strategies to secure financial support for Think Round, Inc. This role involves coordinating fundraising activities, building and maintaining relationships with donors, and ensuring the organization meets its fundraising goals. The Chair works closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and other volunteers to create a sustainable and diversified funding base. Key Responsibilities: Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan in alignment with the organization's mission and goals. Identify new funding opportunities and strategies to diversify revenue streams. Set annual fundraising targets and monitor progress towards achieving them. Donor Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors. Coordinate donor recognition and stewardship activities. Oversee the creation of fundraising materials, including proposals, reports, and thank-you letters. Fundraising Events: Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events and campaigns. Recruit and manage volunteers to support fundraising activities. Evaluate the success of fundraising events and initiatives, providing recommendations for improvement. Grant Writing: Identify and research grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Oversee the preparation and submission of grant applications. Track and report on grant progress and outcomes. Committee Leadership: Chair regular meetings of the Fundraising Committee, setting agendas and guiding discussions. Provide training and support to committee members to enhance their fundraising skills. Report to the Board of Directors on the committee's activities and progress. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field. Professional experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit management. Strong understanding of fundraising principles and best practices. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Experience in grant writing and event planning is preferred. Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience working with volunteers.
