Volunteer Cashier

Habitat of Dane County is looking for cashiers to help at our east side ReStore! Shift available Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. View shifts and sign up (will be marked as cashier training shifts) at https://habitatdane.volunteerhub.com/ Habitat ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, building materials and appliances at a fraction of the retail price. Volunteer cashiers are needed to: Greet and interact with customers Operate a register Utilize the store paging system Maintain a safe, clean work environment Requirements: Ability to stand for the majority of a 4-hour shift (with periodic breaks and a chair available at the register) Good customer service skills Willingness to learn We will schedule an initial training shift to be sure it's a good fit.
