Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance to lead and scale financial operations in close partnership with our COO/co-founder. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and driving forecasting and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a proactive finance partner with deep experience in SaaS or recurring revenue models, strong analytical skills, and a passion for building scalable financial systems. This is a great opportunity for a versatile hands-on professional with strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and execution mentality to help capture the significant commercial opportunity and shape the company’s long-term growth. What You’ll Do
Partner directly with the COO to build the finance function Run the full quote-to-cash process: pricing, contracts, billing, collections, and revenue recognition (ARR, deferred revenue) Prepare inputs in support of monthly close Model and maintain customer-level margins to inform pricing, retention, and product strategy Maintain and update the financial model to support budgeting and forecasting Run scenario analyses to evaluate business decisions, support new product launches and optimize capital allocation Leverage historical financials and cross-functional data to spot trends, surface risks and identify opportunities to scale strategically Collaborate with Sales, Customer Ops, and Leadership to keep finance aligned with growth Support board-level and investor reporting (package prep, SaaS metrics, etc.) Key Skills
SaaS finance & ARR modeling GAAP accounting & revenue recognition Quote-to-cash process management Building processes from scratch; improving existing processes Cross-functional collaboration Strong analytical skills; ability to identify and frame data-driven decisions Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Startup mindset: scrappy, proactive and excited to build a function 7+ years in finance/accounting, ideally in SaaS and/or startups What We Offer
