Job Description
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director, Global Finance to lead our worldwide financial planning and analysis (FP&A), cost accounting, and accounting operations. This role will be instrumental in shaping our global financial strategy, delivering accurate and timely insights, and ensuring operational excellence across closing and reporting cycles.

Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Lead the development of global annual budgets, long-range plans, and quarterly forecasts in alignment with strategic goals across all regions
Create and maintain global financial models and dashboards that provide visibility into business performance, risks, and opportunities
Deliver monthly and quarterly global financial reviews with actionable insights and clear recommendations
Collaborate with business unit and regional leaders to translate operational strategies into measurable financial outcomes
Financial Close, Cost Accounting & Reporting
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual global close processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
Lead and mentor the cost accounting team to ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and margin analysis
Partner with the accounting team to maintain the integrity of financial statements under U.S. GAAP and applicable international standards
Implement process improvements to shorten the close cycle and enhance both consolidated and regional reporting capabilities
Prepare global internal management reports and provide financial input for board and leadership presentations
Leadership & Business Partnership
Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team by providing global financial guidance and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions
Lead and develop a high-performing, globally distributed finance team through coaching, collaboration, and alignment with company values
Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement across all finance functions worldwide
Compliance & Internal Controls
Maintain and strengthen internal controls to support accurate financial reporting and reduce risk across all regions
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax requirements, and audit procedures in the U.S. and internationally
Work closely with external auditors and ensure timely completion of all global audit and compliance activities
Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
8–10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including 3+ years in a leadership role
Strong expertise in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, business modeling, and cost accounting
Hands-on experience managing monthly financial closes and producing GAAP-compliant financials
Advanced Excel and ERP / reporting system proficiency (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Power BI)
Preferred :
CPA strongly preferred; MBA is a plus
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or product-based global environment
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making at all organizational levels
Strong knowledge and experience with SAP and Power BI
