Overview
Director Finance - FP&A
at Liberty Diversified International (LDI) partners with business leaders across the LDI family of companies to deliver financial insights that drive strategic decisions. This position primarily supports Enterprise Solutions, which encompasses various corporate functions such as Finance, IT, and HR. The role collaborates with financial and business leaders to execute LDI's strategy by providing timely and accurate reporting and analysis to predict and compare actual versus forecasted results and support enterprise-wide performance and growth. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Enterprise Solutions and is located at LDI Headquarters in New Hope, Minnesota.
Responsibilities
Lead the annual budget process and manage financial reporting processes.
Partner with the CFO to ensure a robust financial forecasting process.
Lead processes to ensure Enterprise Solutions have robust financial planning tools.
Prepare executive and board charts and lead M&A activities.
Develop and maintain KPI reporting.
Manage the enhancement, maintenance, and further implementation of the OneStream financial system.
Partner with IT to ensure databases and tools are available for reporting and analyzing complex financial data.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and enhance accounting and finance processes for automation.
Ensure compliance with financial reporting principles and lead special projects and ad hoc financial analysis.
Required education, experience, and skills
Bachelor’s degree in business with a focus in Finance, Accounting, or related quantitative degree; MBA preferred.
8+ years of progressive finance or FP&A experience; proven leadership experience.
Excellent organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and research skills; practical written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptionally good judgment and creative problem-solving skills; results-oriented with accurate, complete, and timely deliverables.
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with high attention to detail.
Exceptional proficiency in Excel; firm understanding of the manufacturing process.
Ability to travel 10-20%.
Preferred education, experience, and skills
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of OneStream or a similar financial consolidation tool.
Experience working in a matrix environment.
Compensation and benefits Starting base salary range of $177,490 - $221,862 per year plus eligibility in an annual bonus program. The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and / or certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses or deferred compensation options. May include frequent reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, pinching, grasping, and gripping.
