Underwriter/Senior Underwriter II - Asset Based Finance at Bank of America. This role involves working directly with business development officers, relationship managers, investment bank, capital markets teams and product specialists to develop, structure, analyze, covenant, document, fund and close transactions. The role covers a broad range of transactions from large corporate/private equity to core middle market and requires interaction with clients, financial sponsors/intermediaries, outside accountants, legal counsel and field examiners. A solid understanding of BANA and BABC credit policies and regulatory requirements is needed to respond quickly during underwriting, documentation and closing processes. Job Details

Base pay range: $94,500.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Shift: 1st shift (United States of America). Hours Per Week: 40 Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent Location: Chicago, IL (as applicable to job postings) Responsibilities

Analyzing new prospects for credit quality and Asset Based Lending potential, including financials and projections Evaluate collateral from a broad spectrum of industries for suitability for asset-based facilities Assist in negotiation of term sheets and credit agreements with prospective clients Prepare internal documentation to evaluate new opportunities including pre-screens and final approval documentation Work closely with risk management on approvals; present borrower and structure to risk committee to secure deal approval Coordinate with outside counsel and other third parties, including appraisers and field examiners, to document and close transactions Required Qualifications

3+ years experience credit, underwriting, and structuring of corporate lending transactions for the AB Underwriter; 7+ years for the AB Sr. Underwriter II Deep knowledge of Legal Documentation (commitment papers, term sheets, credit agreements, intercreditor agreements, etc.) Able to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external clients Ability to navigate multiple client and support organizations and engage resources through various business partners to achieve outcomes Desired Qualifications

10+ years asset-based experience Familiarity with asset-based lending across broad industries, including sector-specific risks and nuances BA/BS Degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting or related Skills
