The Grants Manager will be an integral senior member of a team that provides direct support of proposal preparation and submission, as well as post-award financial management for the Electrical and Computer department. Responsibilities
Advise and assist a portfolio of assigned faculty with the development and submission of proposals for sponsored research. Manage all financial accounts associated with sponsored programs. Represent the assigned faculty in communication with university administrative offices and federal and private funding agencies for sponsored research. Navigate complex sponsor mixes, award types, external collaborations, and daily interactions with Principal Investigators. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree required. Accounting background in an academic environment with grant experience. 5-8 years of related preparation and management experience desirable. Knowledge of OMB Circulars and federal sponsor guidelines, and the ability to mentor junior colleagues is preferred. Additional information
