Manager of Compliance and Integrity Engineering
to join our growing team. The
Manager of Compliance and Integrity Engineering
is responsible for leading a dynamic team of engineers and specialists. This role involves executing a diverse array of client projects that focus on ensuring compliance and integrity of pipelines and facilities. The position requires a deep understanding of midstream oil and gas infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, and risk management strategies. The manager will guide the team to achieve excellence in regulatory compliance and integrity engineering, thereby ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency for our clients. Responsibilities
Business Unit Planning: Collaborate with Senior Management to develop a business plan, revenue plan, capital budget, operations budget, and resource plan that defines the book of business to be executed by the team. Financial Objectives: Ensure the business unit achieves financial objectives defined within the business plan. Business Unit Goals: Drive the team to meet the goals outlined in the Business Plan. Team Development: Develop growth strategies for team members to enhance their knowledge of compliance and integrity management and increase value for our customers. Mentoring: Provide mentorship to support the team’s career development by enhancing professional skills and technical knowledge, particularly regulatory compliance and integrity engineering best practices. Field Operations: Assist in field operations and ensure customer satisfaction. Regulatory Alignment: Work with operations, engineering, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry rules, regulations, and best practices. Compliance Programs: Develop and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures for clients. Client Representation: Represent the organization with clients and business partners in collaboration with Business Development. Leadership and Management: Provide leadership for the Compliance and Integrity Engineering team, aligning with the company vision and values. Workload Management: Assign workloads and serve as a technical leader for developing and approving customer deliverables. Project Support: Support other project scopes including ILI Engineering, ILI Tracking, Direct Assessment API, Non-Destructive Examination, LSC proprietary software, and other integrity engineering projects. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in pipeline integrity, compliance, or midstream operations in the oil and natural gas industry. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (DOT, PHMSA, API, ASME). Technical Skills: Experience with integrity management systems, risk assessment tools, and integrity management techniques. Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, written/verbal communication, and problem-solving skills. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to quickly develop solutions. Travel: Ability to travel to support in-field execution and/or meet clients (25%). Computer Skills: Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, and GIS. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with integrity management programs, manuals, and plans, along with an understanding of in-line inspection tool runs, data, and NDE techniques. Industry Relationships: Established connections across the oil and/or natural gas industry. Compensation and Benefits
Lake Superior Consulting offers a competitive compensation package. The actual starting salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including your skills, experience, and office/market location. The anticipated salary/hourly range for this position is
