Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management, Field Operations Facilities Program Management Office. 1 vacancy in multiple locations: Aliso Viejo, CA; San Francisco, CA. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the listed duty locations. Duties

Direct a program segment that performs a variety of professional, technical, and/or administrative programs and services. Provide technical direction in project management, team building, facilitation, process improvement analysis, and the development of a business case for the project. Develop detailed plans, tasks, milestone dates, and schedules to ensure proper sequencing of events and tracking of processes and costs throughout the program/project lifecycle. Requirements

You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position. Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with Selective Service. Experience:

For the GS-14 level, 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, including: defining goals and objectives to maximize long-term program performance; collaborating across CBP and DHS components; managing resources for projects; approving multi-year work plans; providing technical advice on strategic issues. Your resume must explicitly show how you meet this requirement. Experience may include paid and unpaid work, volunteer service, or National Service programs. You will receive credit for qualifying experience, including volunteer work. Current federal employees must meet Time-in-Grade requirements by the stated date; additional notices may apply for political appointees or prior government service. Education
