On-site role. Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, management systems, and training to meet regulatory and internal standards in manufacturing and R&D. Responsibilities
Program leadership: Collaborate with other EHS teams globally to develop standardized EHS programs, systems, and training. Risk management: Conduct risk assessments, new chemical reviews, and process and facilities changes. Compliance and audits: Lead EHS Gemba walks, compliance audits, and inspections. Incident investigation and reporting: Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes, develop and implement preventative measures, and maintain records of all EHS incidents and investigations. Key EHS duties: Lead teams such as the emergency response team, safety committee, and lab safety teams. Data analysis: Oversee EHS data analysis, record-keeping systems, and management of EHS performance metrics and trend identification. Continuous improvement: Drive initiatives to reduce risk and enhance programs, management systems, and training to foster EHS excellence. Regulatory compliance: Review and analyze regulations from regulatory agencies to maintain compliance; serve as a point of contact for agencies. Emerging trends: Track new and emerging EHS regulations, trends, and best practices; communicate updates to stakeholders. Compliance with laws and ethics: Adhere to applicable laws and regulations, follow Quality Management System processes, and demonstrate ethics and integrity. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, or related field; or a bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with relevant experience. Minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience in Environmental, Health and Safety, including at least three (3) years in manufacturing and/or plant environments. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Desired Qualifications
Ability to work closely with Senior Leadership, Supervisors, and Production Associates. Strong knowledge of state and federal EHS regulations, EHS management systems, emergency action plans, incident management, and ergonomics. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to discern and communicate sensitive issues effectively. Ability to adapt and work in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and daily responsibilities. Posting Country
