Overview
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operational support of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security across the enterprise. This role aligns IT services with business objectives, manages vendor relationships, and leads cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact technology solutions. Strong communication skills and the ability to establish productive relationships at all levels of the firm are essential. Core Responsibilities
Operational Oversight: Support and monitor enterprise IT systems, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and endpoints. Ensure uptime, performance, and SLA compliance. Incident & Problem Management: Lead resolution for major incidents and recurring problems. Implement ITSM best practices and document root cause analyses. Vendor & Procurement Management: Oversee vendor contracts, procurement processes, and service delivery. Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Legal to ensure cost-effective and compliant sourcing. Strategic Planning & Execution: Support strategic initiatives such as data foundation projects, agile transformation, and IT shared services restructuring. Align operations with long-term goals; lead change management and user adoption. Security & Compliance: Partner with Information Security to enforce cybersecurity policies, conduct audits, and ensure regulatory compliance. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain BCDR plans for critical IT systems; conduct regular testing and updates. Project Support: Work with project managers to support infrastructure needs for deployments, upgrades, and migrations. Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with Inland entities to budget and forecast IT expenses; analyze and optimize operational costs and provide financial reporting. Asset & Warranty Management: Maintain warranty information in ServiceNow with new purchases; generate asset reports including warranty status as requested. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop Knowledge Base Articles in ServiceNow documenting procedures for internal teams and end users. Team Leadership: Supervise IT support staff and infrastructure engineers; provide mentorship and performance development opportunities. Travel: Expect three – five trips per year for vendor meetings, remote office due diligence, and onboarding. Compliance & Ethics: Demonstrate high standards of integrity and comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience and Skills
10+ years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure management. Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows, iOS, and Android. Strong understanding of ITIL, network architecture, cloud platforms (Azure, Office 365, AWS), and enterprise systems. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Hands-on experience with networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers). Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM tools and ticketing systems. Proficient in developing Knowledge Base Articles in ServiceNow for internal teams and end users. Experience in vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiation. Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Flexible and proactive in adapting to changing priorities; solution-oriented mindset. Driven to deliver business value and outcomes. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision. Ability to engage effectively with clients, peers, and vendors in one-on-one and group settings. ITIL Foundation PMP Certification CompTIA A+ / Network+ Microsoft Certified: Office 365 Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals Compensation & Benefits
Annual Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000. This position is eligible to participate in the company’s annual discretionary bonus program.
