Overview

The Vice President, IT Infrastructure & Operations leads the strategy, management, and performance of enterprise technology systems, including networking, databases, infrastructure, and security. This role ensures that the organization’s technology environment is reliable, secure, and optimized to support business effectiveness and growth. The position provides leadership and oversight across the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of IT systems and services. Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction for IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations to align with organizational goals and mission objectives. Oversee the development, execution, and periodic updates of enterprise technology architecture and cybersecurity strategies. Ensure infrastructure, operations, and related services meet business requirements and support end-user productivity. Establish and enforce departmental standards, procedures, and governance for IT systems, including acquisition, implementation, and maintenance. Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, as well as IT operational plans. Participate in project portfolio planning, offering guidance on technology trends and process improvements. Lead disaster recovery planning, business continuity initiatives, and crisis management participation on behalf of IT. Oversee IT staff performance and ensure adherence to best practices in system analysis, design, security, testing, configuration, and operations. Provide executive-level support for long-term organizational planning and technology alignment. Represent IT leadership in cross-functional initiatives and corporate-level emergency response planning. Direct co-located IT operations and readiness for disaster recovery. Perform other related leadership responsibilities as required. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience managing IT operations within an oil, gas, or energy environment, preferably in a complex or highly regulated industry. Proven track record of leveraging technology to address business challenges. Strong leadership background with experience managing technical teams. Demonstrated ability to recommend, design, and implement technology solutions efficiently and cost-effectively. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems design capabilities. Seniority level
