Engineering Manager - Global E-commerce Governance Platform - Seattle Responsibilities
Build up and manage the Governance and Experience R&D team in the US Strong hands-on abilities, including designing/architecting the solution and providing technical support for engineers in the team Align with business and org objectives, coordinate with cross-functional teams on delivering key results, and contribute technical decisions on projects and products Define long-term technical roadmap for the team Build team structure and team morale. Help team members with their career growth E-Commerce\'s Governance Platform is a global team dedicated to ensuring a safe, trustworthy, and ethical marketplace for our buyers, sellers, and creators. We strive to enhance risk detection capabilities, promote fairness and sustainability within the e-commerce ecosystem, and maintain high standards for content and product quality Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline 5+ years of experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems Experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical collaborators across functions and levels Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills Preferred Qualifications: Strong experience with E-Commerce. Governance experience, including Anti-Fraud and Risk Management, is a plus 3+ years of experience managing or tech leading a software engineering team with 5+ engineers About TikTok

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $198,360 - $416,100 annually. Compensation may vary outside this range depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is part of the total package; this role may be eligible for bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary by location and employment type. Day one access to medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and paid time off are offered where applicable.
