Overview
Job Summary – Murex Liquidity Risk Business Analyst Location: DC Serve as Business Analyst for the Liquidity Management team within Treasury, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Murex. Collaborate with Murex and business stakeholders to assess the impact of changes to implementations. Gather, create, and refine user story requirements; define user testing acceptance criteria. Independently perform validation and regression testing of Liquidity Management solutions. Analyze and investigate discrepancies in reports, identify root causes, and report issues. Provide recommendations based on validation and regression findings. Structure and communicate feedback and requirements from Liquidity Management stream to the project team. Develop and execute test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including reconciliation of results. Maintain issue status logs and ensure timely resolution by following up with stakeholders. Prepare regular reports and status updates for stakeholders and management. Ensure delivery of all requirements as specified in scoping, user stories, and testing documentation. Create and maintain documentation for Liquidity Management functionalities. Collaborate with various stakeholders across the World Bank Group, including business units, IT, and Murex teams, to deliver project deliverables (Project TANGO). Act as backup for the Liquidity Management team during Business as Usual (BAU) operations as needed. Utilize strong experience in supporting and implementing integrated financial systems, including specification preparation, design analysis, and testing. Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Murex, specifically in areas such as Simulation, Market Data, MLC, MRA/MRB, Market Scenarios, Trade Lifecycle/Events, MX Reporting/Datamart, and Front & Back Office Business Processes. Possess solid understanding of various financial instruments (bonds, bank deposits, repo agreements, futures, and OTC derivatives). Understand Liquidity Management measurements, risk sensitivities, liquidity ratios, cash flow simulation, FX/interest rate fixing simulation, and stress testing. Apply excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills within tight deadlines and internal control requirements. Exhibit strong documentation, communication, and advanced MS Excel skills, along with organizational, teamwork, and adaptability abilities.
