As an IT Audit Consultant, you will assist our clients across multiple industries and provide a variety of IT advisory services related to internal control, risk management, IT controls, and related standards (Sarbanes-Oxley, FISCAM, FISMA, NIST, COBIT). In this role, you will identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and opportunities for internal control improvement.

Conduct confidential and/or complex technology, operational, and integrated audits under the general direction of audit leadership and management.

Lead efforts to monitor compliance with control objectives across IT, analyze current controls, identify process inefficiencies, and suggest improvements to internal controls.

Review system control narratives, work papers, and documentation timely and thoroughly.

Evaluate IT general controls, financial controls, application controls, and report baseline testing to identify opportunities to mitigate risks and improve controls and efficiency.

Produce high-quality reports documenting audit results, including comments on control adequacy and effectiveness.

Use sound judgment in evaluating audit results and developing remediation solutions for control weaknesses.

Assess risks and controls by identifying non-compliance, evaluating processes, and identifying weaknesses and inefficiencies.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.

Certifications such as CISA, CIA, CPA, PMP, CISM, CRISC, CIPP/IT are a plus.

5+ years of experience in IT compliance and auditing, preferably with a Big 4 or internal audit department.

Experience in audit program development, process documentation, control testing, and documentation.

Knowledge of IT General Controls, including Security, Operations, Vendor Management, Business Continuity, Networks, Databases, Software, Hardware, and Development controls.

Experience in business process review and re-engineering.
