Director-level Supply Chain Consultant , you’ll lead strategic and operational transformation initiatives across the full supply chain spectrum—from planning and sourcing to production and distribution. You’ll work directly with client leadership, roll up your sleeves in the field, and deliver sustainable, measurable results. What You’ll Do

Build trusted relationships with client executives and frontline teams Conduct deep-dive assessments of supply chain operations, systems, and data Lead workshops, site visits, and interviews to uncover root causes and opportunities Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and future-state process designs Create and present compelling recommendations and implementation roadmaps Oversee solution rollout, including documentation, training, and coaching Manage multiple workstreams and mentor junior consultants Stay hands-on until solutions are tested, adopted, and fully operational What You Bring

10+ years of experience in consulting, manufacturing, or industry leadership Proven success in implementation and change management Strong analytical skills and fluency with tools like Power BI Experience with business process mapping (e.g., MS Visio) Exceptional communication skills, able to “tell the story” to C-suite and frontline teams Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action Willingness to travel extensively (expenses reimbursed; generous per diem provided) Preferred Expertise

Demand forecasting, consensus building across functions ERP/MRP Remediation:

BOMs, master data, buyer/planner processes Sourcing & Capital Allocation:

Make/buy decisions, SKU rationalization, automation Production:

Capacity planning, Lean Six Sigma, S&OP, layout optimization Inventory Management:

Reduction strategies, target setting, performance tracking Distribution & Logistics:

WMS, routing, fleet management, 3PL/4PL, network optimization Management Operating Systems (MOS):

Design and implementation Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred Certifications such as PMP, CPIM, Six Sigma, Scrum, or Lean tools preferred Familiarity with APICS, Anylogistix, Alteryx a plus Why Synergetics?
