The
Children's Crisis (CSU) Program Coordinator
will work on site, three 12-hour shifts per week, in collaboration with the Manager of Crisis Stabilization Unit. The coordinator oversees day-to-day clinical operations, including hiring, training, clinical and administrative supervision of CSU clinical staff, and oversight of clinical programming and documentation related to the CSU program. Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
Master's degree in a related field (psychology, counseling, social work, etc.) Licensed clinician: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist Three or more years’ related experience with children/youth Supervisory experience preferred Experience in crisis stabilization, inpatient settings, integrated behavioral health, or community mental health settings preferred Essential Duties
Provide clinical and administrative supervision to approximately 10 CSU staff to ensure day-to-day operations comply with regulatory requirements Develop staff schedules and manage unit operations within staffing parameters Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations; maintain records quality Oversee caseloads and supervise treatment services for each child/youth Coordinate discharge planning and transition of care to community resources Collaborate with Medical Team for psychiatric evaluations and medication monitoring as per policy Respond to and manage crises involving clients or potential clients Train and supervise staff to meet BHA and Medicaid billing requirements Ensure documentation and billing compliance per regulatory guidelines Develop strategies to improve client engagement post-discharge Coordinate interdisciplinary team meetings and facilitate supervision of therapists and residential counselors Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled Ensure Adverse Incident Reporting and Medication Occurrence reporting; attend Critical Incident Reviews as designated Aid the Program Manager in identifying issues and developing professional development trainings Track staff hours and timesheets; monitor unit spending within budget Respond promptly to client/consumer needs and maintain positive stakeholder relations Other Duties
Participate in interagency committees as requested Prepare for supervision sessions with agenda; report high-risk cases with problem-solving Monitor and coach clinical staff to achieve performance benchmarks Attend mandatory trainings, meetings, clinical supervision, and online courses Share knowledge of treatment modalities (e.g., DBT, CBT, MI, solution-focused, trauma-informed, culturally competent care) Support student-based positions (practicum students/interns) with supervision and gatekeeping Maintain QMAP certification and CPI certification Note: Employees are accountable for all duties of this job. $67,300 – $85,700 CSU Bonus : $1,000 at 1-month anniversary; $1,000 at 6-month anniversary; $500 at 1-year anniversary (Total: $2,500). Eligibility based on full-time status; prorating applies for less than 40 hours/week; current Jefferson Center employees may be ineligible for the sign-on bonus. Application Deadline:
