Seasonal Alterations Specialist role at David's Bridal. Join us for our peak season in a seasonal role.
Responsibilities
Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person; communicate clearly and concisely, adapting style to suit customers by problem solving, strong phone skills and conflict resolution.
Use systems to manage customer flow to deliver a five-star customer experience.
Maintain service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, Meeting customer needs, and supporting operational tasks.
Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers; contribute to Five-Star Customer Service.
Address customer concerns with confidence; know when to escalate and partner with leadership.
Explain how alterations contribute to dress perfection; promote alteration services and personalization options.
Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization.
Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience; comply with Dress Code Policy.
Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments; inspect altered/steamed/pressed garments for quality before delivery.
Respond promptly to customer questions with product and service information.
Build long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Assist with inventory management, special order pickups, and ensuring quality standards for merchandise.
Ensure alteration pricing aligns with company standards; manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing and spot cleaning to company standards.
Resolve customer service issues in accordance with company guidelines; support all cash wrap processes and transactions accurately.
Maintain alterations room in a clean and organized condition; perform duties as assigned by store management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
Prior sewing experience; bridal and/or special occasion production experience preferred.
Prior experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.
