*Wild Branch Builders is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our crew. Wild Branch specializes in high-end residential renovations, additions, and new construction. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of residential construction, and all aspects of building from initial framing to complete interior and exterior finish phase, a willingness to learn and bring their own knowledge and insight to unique projects.*

*Lead Carpenter*
The Lead carpenter will be tasked with assisting the execution of the construction portion of a project alongside the Project Manager. This will entail interpreting the construction documents and running a crew of 2-4 additional people efficiently. Lead Carpenters work closely with the project manager to perform the majority of carpentry work, help coordinate the crew's daily/weekly objectives, as well as coordinate certain subcontractors' on-site work.
*Qualifications*
A Lead Carpenter should have at least five years of on-site experience and have a thorough understanding of rough and finish carpentry, the trades associated with home remodeling and construction, and the ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion. The position requires working in a team oriented environment and the ability to interact with other employees, subcontractos and at times customers. Strong communication skills are essential. All candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
* Perform carpentry tasks with attention to detail. * Lead a team of carpenters to perform specific scopes of work. * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the Project Manager and Carpenters. * Responsible for job site safety, cleanliness, security, and protection from the elements. * Perform every aspect of general home construction without specific direction, this includes but is not limited to; * Laying out wall locations, stud layout, and window/door packages from construction documents. * Locating stair openings from construction documents, landing elevations, laying out,, and cutting stair stringers. * Locating and installing structural ridges. * Laying out, templating, cutting, and installing rafters, this includes hips and valleys. * Installing Exterior and Interior Trim details. * Cabinet installation. * Window installation. * Siding installation. * Roof construction. * Always act in a manner that represents the principles of Wild Branch Builders. * Hold themselves and all carpenters under their direction accountable for their work performance, actions, and appearance. * Responsible for the production of projects in accordance with the plans and specifications. * Maintain a good attitude even through adversity. * Be able to problem-solve without the direction of superiors.

* Circular saw * Drill and Impact * Basic Hand Tools * Professional Tool belt * Tool allowance will be provided annually
Schedule
Official workday is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Physical Demands
Employees may be required to stand or walk over 75% of the time. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling may be required. Lifting up to 65 lbs. Must meet vision requirements to obtain a driver’s license.
