Position Overview: We're seeking a skilled Legal Consultant specialized in USA technology and privacy law to join our team. This role is critical in navigating the complex legal landscape of digital health and wellness platforms, focusing on compliance, data protection, and user privacy. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in technology law, a passion for privacy, and a proactive approach to legal risk management. Key Responsibilities: Advise on compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other relevant privacy and health information regulations affecting our platform and user base. Conduct legal assessments of new features, especially those handling personal and health-related information of users and practitioners. Guide the development and implementation of privacy policies, terms of use, and consent forms that align with our platform's functionality and user interactions. Provide legal oversight for partnerships with practitioners and other wellness entities, ensuring agreements meet regulatory standards. Offer strategic advice on mitigating legal risks associated with online content, user interactions, and data sharing. Stay abreast of changes in technology law and advise on potential impacts to the platform. Qualifications: Degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction and specialization. 3+ years of relevant experience in technology and privacy law, preferably with exposure to the health and wellness sector. Strong understanding of digital platform regulations, including data protection and consumer privacy. Experience advising on the legal aspects of digital product development, especially in a startup or tech-forward environment. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Why Join Us?
