Animal Welfare Grant Alerts Reviewer Fundraising:
Fundraising is a vital part of any nonprofit organization and Ohlone Humane Society is grateful for our past and ongoing donors and funders. All animal support programs at OHS depend on private donations, grants, corporate partnerships, and our fees and memberships. With so much competition for funding these days, we are a motivated, dedicated and fun group that thrives on creativity to help people feel good about donating to Ohlone Humane Society and know that their donations will be used to help the animals. Ohlone Humane Society is privately funded and relies on the generous support of our community through donations and volunteering. Duties/Responsibilities: Identify animal welfare opportunities using automated email grant alerts and Candid/Guidestar Foundation directory. Create and manage a shared calendar for grant applications and letters of introduction (LOIs) Attend meetings as needed. Skills/Competencies: Willingness to learn, attention to detail, consistency, reliability, and teamwork is a must. Who should apply: Someone with commitment and dedication to help animals who understands how important it is to get funding.
