About Us QRFup is dedicated to providing crisis intervention, mental health support and suicide prevention resources for Veterans and First Responders. We work to ensure that those who have served or are currently serving our communities receive the critical care and support they need during times of crisis. We are looking for many more volunteers to ensure our mission is a success. If you have time you'd like to dedicate to the men and women who serve you and your community, QRFup is a great way to do that. QRFup is self funded by its Board of Directors. Everyone is a volunteer, with the majority of positions being full time. We are licensed in the United States, which means anyone who volunteers for us must live within the United States. Position Summary: As a State Event Coordinator, you will play a key role in planning, organizing, and executing local events that raise awareness, engage the community, and support our mission. You’ll work closely with volunteers, partners, and leadership to ensure successful event operations and help expand our impact within your state. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate awareness events, fundraisers, memorial walks/runs, resource fairs, and community outreach initiatives across the state. Identify and secure venues, vendors, guest speakers, and volunteers for events. Work with the communications team to promote events via social media, local media, and community networks. Serve as a local liaison for the organization, building relationships with veteran groups, first responder agencies, and community partners. Track event outcomes, feedback, and participation to help improve future events. Ensure all activities align with the organization’s mission, safety standards, and branding guidelines. Qualifications: Passion for supporting veterans, first responders, and mental health causes. Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in event planning, volunteer coordination, or community outreach (preferred but not required). Ability to lead a team and work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable working with diverse populations and in emotionally sensitive environments.
