This is a remote volunteer opportunity-perfect for those who love writing, want to make a meaningful impact, and prefer a flexible schedule. What You’ll Do Write thoughtful, compassionate letters to hospice patients Share stories, poems, drawings, or simple messages of hope Help reduce feelings of isolation and brighten someone’s day Why It Matters Hospice patients and their care givers often face loneliness and limited social interaction. Your letters can be a source of comfort, connection, and even laughter. You don’t need to be a professional writer-just someone with a kind heart and a willingness to share it. How It Works We’ll match you with a patient based on interests or needs You’ll send letters to folks from a list shared with you by the volunteer coordinator You can write as often as you’d like-weekly, biweekly, or monthly Requirements Must be 16 or older Respect for confidentiality and sensitivity to end-of-life care Ability to communicate with empathy and warmth Ready to make a difference with your words?
