Do you want to help low-income seniors overcome technological barriers? Volunteer to tutor technology for seniors living at Satellite Central in Oakland! We are looking for a volunteer who is Bilingual in Cantonese and English and is available

weekly or montly on Thusrday, from 2pm-3pm. Many of SAHA’s seniors living in affordable housing want to learn how to use their technology and have very little knowledge of how to operate and navigate a computer, a tablet and/or a smartphone. They have a strong desire and need to learn. Help these seniors operate their technology so that they can communicate with family and friends! You would be teaching them the basics of how use and operate their tablets! This may include teaching them how to know if they are signed into WiFi, how to fill out forms, how to send text messages, how to create an email account and how to send emails. They also want to know how to surf the Web and use apps on their tablets. If you're looking to make a difference in your community, this is a wonderful opportunity to gain teaching experience with students who are eager to learn. Requirements:

Ongoing SAHA Community Volunteers must commit to volunteer for a minimum of 4 months, and must complete a volunteer orientation, volunteer forms and background screening prior to beginning their placement. About SAHA:
