Food Distribution at Spartan Keyes Neighborhood Center 4th Tuesday of every month, from 1:30pm-4:30pm PLEASE SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER (To register, please copy the link below and paste into your browser): https://www.shfb.org/give-help/volunteer/volcalendar-general/?location=0011I00001Iqjs4QAB Volunteers have access to park in: *The top four spaces, they are the first four spots you see when entering Bella Castello Apartments parking lot* They also have access once they go down into the parking garage ground level before the gate, when going down the the parking garage they will have access to the parking spots on the left side before passing the gate. The best way for volunteers to check if they parked in the correct area, is to check the parking sign in front that has "NO Parking, Reserved for Spartan Keyes Neighborhood Action Center". This is the best way volunteers can check that they are parked in the correct spots. PLEASE DO NOT park in any spots that have numbers as those are Bella Castello Residents parking spots and you run the risk of getting towed. This is a Farmers Market-style distribution. Everyone should have access to healthy food. Second Harvest provides nutritious groceries and fresh produce at distribution sites throughout Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. These sites are volunteer-run and rely on committed, dedicated volunteers who can support the effort on an ongoing basis. We invite you to join us in providing a warm and welcoming environment for our clients. Activities could include assisting with set up, unloading and moving food boxes from pallets, loading boxes into the cars of our clients, and site clean up. This volunteer activity does require some heavy lifting (15-30 lbs.) and regular movement. Volunteers must be wiling and able to work with people of different backgrounds and nationalities, exhibit compassion and sensitivity, maintain strict confidentiality of all member and volunteer information, as well as follow all guidelines and instructions provided by the site leader.
