Summary for the Customer Service Associate: Perform a range of teller and customer service duties effectively. Demonstrate strong proficiency in processing teller transactions while handling customer service-related tasks such as opening checking, savings, and certificate of deposit accounts. Follow established guidelines and protocols to sell and service all deposit accounts, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring timely problem resolution. Possess comprehensive knowledge of various bank deposit and electronic banking products and services. Utilize needs-based selling techniques to uncover client needs and recommend suitable products and services. Job Requirements for the Customer Service Associate: At least one year of experience in a teller or customer service role within a banking environment. Excellent sales, service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Enjoy working collaboratively with a diverse range of individuals in a team setting. Strong organizational, technical, and computer skills. Ability to adapt to changes and manage multiple tasks effectively. In-depth knowledge of teller and customer service procedures, policies, and guidelines. Familiarity with banking products and services, with a commitment to ongoing knowledge enhancement. Specific Job Functions for the Customer Service Associate: Efficiently perform a variety of teller transactions and routine customer service tasks. Identify cross-selling opportunities while responding to various customer inquiries to recommend relevant products or solutions. Assist in opening basic deposit accounts, addressing electronic banking inquiries, and performing account maintenance while making referrals as needed. Accurately maintain and balance a cash drawer. Deliver exceptional service to customers, colleagues, and team members. Adhere to security, compliance, and operational policies and procedures. Engage in ongoing training related to sales, service, compliance, and product knowledge. Be available to assist at other local branches if needed. Perform additional duties as necessary.
