Maintenance Technician

As a
Maintenance Technician
at
Brooke Street Lofts and Horicon School Apartments , you’ll be at the heart of that mission: ensuring our live in well-maintained, comfortable, and safe spaces they’re proud to call home.
This is more than a maintenance job — it’s a chance to be a key part of a supportive team, grow your skills, and make a real difference in your community.
What You’ll Do:
Take ownership
of maintaining the physical condition of the community, inside and out.
Troubleshoot and repair
HVAC systems, electrical issues, plumbing problems, and appliances (stoves, dishwashers, refrigerators, disposals, etc.).
Complete service requests
within 24 hours — quickly, efficiently, and with care,
Perform
routine upkeep and preventive maintenance
to keep everything running smoothly,
Help maintain excellent curb appeal: remove debris, pressure wash exteriors, maintain grounds, and more.
Rotate on-call duties with the maintenance team for after-hours and occasional holiday/weekend support.
Keep inventory
of commonly used parts and materials to control maintenance expenditures.
Collaborate with team members and vendors

What You’ll Bring:
Previous property maintenance experience
HVAC certification ( but not required)
Strong knowledge of HVAC, appliances, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
Great communication and teamwork skills
A passion for providing exceptional customer service
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
