Role Overview: Engage in a variety of teller and customer service functions with proficiency. Efficiently process teller transactions and assist with basic customer service tasks such as opening checking and savings accounts. Adhere to established guidelines and procedures while promoting and servicing all deposit accounts. Respond to customer inquiries effectively and resolve issues promptly. Possess a strong understanding of our deposit and electronic banking products and services. Utilize needs-based sales techniques to identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services. Qualifications: Minimum one year of teller or customer service experience in a banking environment. Excellent sales, service, communication, and interpersonal skills. A team player who enjoys collaborating with diverse individuals. Strong organizational, technical, and computer skills. Ability to adapt to change and effectively manage multiple tasks. Comprehensive knowledge of teller and customer service processes, policies, and procedures. Strong grasp of banking products with a desire for ongoing learning. Key Responsibilities: Process various teller transactions and customer service tasks with accuracy. Identify cross-sell opportunities and provide solutions based on customer inquiries. Open basic deposit accounts and assist with electronic banking services. Maintain, balance, and manage a cash drawer efficiently. Deliver outstanding service to customers and team members. Follow established policies related to security, compliance, and operations. Engage in continued training for sales, service, compliance, and product knowledge. May require temporary assignment at other local branches if needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.
