Job Description
At Sika Production Supervisors will play a key role in:
Supporting the team in meeting production targets, while ensuring the workplace is safe and respectful.
Your main focus will be effectively operating assigned shift while meeting company goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Specific Responsibilities:
Maintain a presence on the shop floor at least 90% of the time.
Ensure that plant safety rules are enforced.
Ensure that union contract and policies are enforced.
Work with the Materials and Quality to ensure delivery and quality requirements are achieved.
Ensuring existing manufacturing processes are being followed:
Startup/shutdown procedures
First and last piece inspection
Hourly quality checks
5 s practices
Safety devices and procedures are being followed.
Meeting assigned financial goals and budgets.
Effectively managing shop floor, manufacturing operations including
Qualifications
Qualifications/Experience:
High School education required.
College coursework .
Detail oriented problem solver.
Years Experience:
3 years supervising.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of management
