Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for professionals who are looking to deepen their expertise in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activities
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed
• Help prepare internal financial reports and assist with audits
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (distribution or manufacturing industry experience a plus)
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
