Position Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to oversee all marketing and advertising functions. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to generate student enrollment and keep our parents supported and informed. This role requires a balanced skill set: strategic thinking; project and resource management; data analysis; and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Enrollment Marketing: Develop marketing campaigns and systems to attract and enroll prospective families.
- Communicate with Additional Audiences: Develop annual communication plans for enrolled current families, staff, board members, and businesses.
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop our annual marketing plan, calendar, and budget.
- Execute the plan across all channels with special emphasis on understanding and reaching parents in our local neighborhoods.
- Build standard processes and parent/student journeys with our CRM and CDP.
- Gather market data and analyze competition for opportunities and trends, and understand the calls to action relevant to the time of year.
- Report in detail on campaigns, analyze findings, and recommend improvements.
- Maintain brand standards in all media and materials.
- Project Management:
- Lead management and integration of our new website, with CRM and CDP, currently in progress.
- Apply our CRM and CDP systems to increase and improve the personal connections between parents and principals, students and teachers.
- Execute campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and local events.
- Coordinate with leadership, superintendents, and vendors, to help each school meet enrollment throughout the year.
- Content Creation: Strong verbal and visual ability is required, including the ability to write and edit text and image content, sourcing content from specialized vendors, such as video, as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure all marketing and advertising activities comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or significant, equivalent related experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in marketing management, within the education sector or a similar service industry is a plus.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns that generate measurable, attributable results.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices, including digital marketing, CRM/CDP, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and the ability to track and interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Familiarity with the charter school landscape in Ohio is a plus.
