Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and passionate volunteer Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will help bring our mission to life through compelling visual content. Your designs will play a key role in engaging our audience, promoting our programs, and amplifying our impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design visually appealing graphics for digital and print materials, including social media posts, flyers, newsletters, and event promotions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure designs align with our brand identity and messaging.
  • Create infographics and visual assets to support storytelling and data presentation.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the visual elements of our website and other digital platforms.
  • Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent software.
  • If CANVA is what you know, that's okay too
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Ability to create designs that are both visually appealing and aligned with our mission.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • Prior experience in nonprofit or mission-driven work is a plus but not required.

Time Commitment:

  • Flexible schedule with an estimated commitment of 5-10 hours per week.
