JOB SUMMARY: The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) is dedicated to preserving integrity in sport and protecting the rights of clean athletes. We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist with 35 years of professional HR experience to support the daily operations of our Human Resources team. The HR Generalist will play a critical role in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, training coordination, and organizational development, ensuring HR processes align with USADAs mission, values, and legal requirements.

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist with 35 years of professional HR experience to support the daily operations of our Human Resources team. The HR Generalist will play a critical role in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, training coordination, and organizational development, ensuring HR processes align with USADAs mission, values, and legal requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership, promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical decision-making.
- Support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring fair and consistent hiring practices that align with USADAs mission, local, and federal laws.
- Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance on eligibility, compliance, and available resources.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in the HR information system (HRIS), supporting compliance with reporting and audit requirements.
- Support employee relations by handling employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolution with professionalism and discretion.
- Partner with leadership to implement and monitor performance management practices that support employee growth, fairness, and transparency.
- Assist in creating and delivering compliance training (e.g., code of conduct, anti-harassment training, etc.).
- Prepare compliance-related reports as necessary, ensuring adherence to all legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Support continuous improvements in HR policies and practices to foster integrity, justice, respect, and ethical behavior across the organization.
- Assist with special projects within HR as needed to strengthen organizational culture, employee engagement, and accountability.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Working knowledge of HR principles, federal and state labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of ethical workplace practices and the ability to reinforce them across the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and diplomatically.
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to interpret HR data and prepare compliance reports.
- Ability to manage confidential information with the utmost integrity and discretion.
- Moderate to advanced proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 35 years of progressive HR experience, required; or a Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and 2 years of HR experience.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or related certification, a plus.
- Proven ability to balance organizational policies, compliance requirements, and ethical considerations in HR decision-making.
