Black River Health is a not-for-profit, independent healthcare organization proudly serving rural Wisconsin. We operate Black River Memorial Hospital, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, along with two multispecialty rural health clinics: Krohn Clinic and Black River Healthcare Clinic.

- Provide strategic leadership for all HR functions, aligning people initiatives with organizational goals.
- Lead recruitment, talent development, and workforce planning to attract and retain top healthcare professionals.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and recognition programs to ensure equity, competitiveness, and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare and labor regulations while fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
- Partner with executive leadership as a trusted advisor, providing data-driven insights and shaping the future of our workforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required)
- Master’s degree in HR Management or related discipline (preferred)
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) strongly desired
- 5+ years of progressive HR management experience, ideally in healthcare
- A leader who thrives in building relationships, developing people, and driving cultural and organizational growth
