Now offering a limited-time $10,000 sign-on bonus! MedStar Health is seeking a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist to join our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Schedule: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Responsibilities:
Operate diagnostic equipment to produce CT images of internal organs for medical evaluation. Explain procedures to patients, gather medical histories, and assist patients in positioning for scans. Administer contrast media (IV, oral, rectal) according to protocols and monitor patients during injections. Prepare patients, review records, and ensure proper exam procedures. Enter patient and exam data into the system, prepare reports, and maintain records. Assist Radiologists with interventional procedures such as biopsies and drainages. Ensure a sterile environment and maintain imaging equipment and supplies. Support training of new staff and students, and ensure accurate data entry for billing and records. Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology. Completion of competency-based CT training. 1-2 years of related experience. ARRT registration. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. This position offers a hiring range of $38.48 - $62.52 per hour.
