Description

This position is a part-time, live-on-site role responsible for the overall condition and environment of the building in San Francisco, CA.

Position Overview

This is a part-time, live-on-site role responsible for maintaining the building's condition, responding to after-hours and weekend property issues and emergencies. The role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service, and strong communication skills. Compensation includes reduced or free housing in the assigned building, subject to occupancy rules.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct property walk-throughs to ensure maintenance and upkeep meet standards Respond promptly to tenant complaints and emergencies during after-hours Perform light cleaning of carpets, laundry rooms, elevators, and garbage rooms as needed Handle after-hours lockouts and similar issues Assist with building inspections with Property Managers Conduct move-in orientations and move-out inspections occasionally Coordinate vendors and contractors during emergencies Learn and ensure compliance with safety rules at all levels Remain calm during emergency situations Perform light cleaning of rental units as needed Post notices as directed by Property Management Enforce apartment rules as per lease agreements Guide residents on work order submissions and coordinate with departments Maintain work logs and activity records via SynCrew Conduct monthly key audits and report/document appropriately Complete incident reports promptly and submit to Property Manager Ensure the property remains clean, well-maintained, and inviting Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Experience with plumbing and electrical systems, preferably in high-rise buildings Maintenance experience is a plus 1-2 years of facilities and maintenance experience CA Real Estate License is a plus (if interested in leasing as RM) Ability to work after hours and on weekends as necessary Customer service experience required Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently and accurately High school diploma or equivalent required Spanish language skills are a plus Physical Requirements
