Director of Compliance About the Company Well-established community bank Industry Banking Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a talented Director of Compliance to lead and manage the comprehensive compliance framework of our financial institution. You will play a key role in ensuring adherence to all banking regulations and policies while promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organization. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing our Compliance Management Program. As the Compliance Committee chairperson, you will collaborate with various departments to assess and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring our operations align with the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and the Community Reinvestment Act. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking laws, regulations, and compliance practices. You will conduct quality control reviews, verify financial calculations, and manage audits and regulatory examinations. Additionally, you will be instrumental in training staff, preparing detailed compliance reports, and developing strategies to address any potential compliance issues. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual with a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of progressive experience in bank administration and compliance management. Strong leadership and communication abilities are crucial, as well as the capacity to navigate complex challenges independently while fostering a commitment to our company values.
